We take Safeguarding matters very seriously. All staff and Governors at Halifax Primary School have been trained in Safeguarding Procedures. The school’s policy conforms to the Suffolk Safeguarding Children Board Joint Policies and Procedures for the Protection of Children. Any information about Safeguarding issues is treated as confidentially as possible, but staff have a legal duty to share any information they receive with the Designated Safeguarding Lead in school. The school has a legal duty to refer cases of alleged or suspected child abuse to Social Care Services. You are welcome to come in and speak to Mrs Landers, Designated Safeguarding Lead, at any time about any concerns you may have. Alternatively, please follow the guidance below;
